FLOOR STANDARDS 2015 to 2016

The Government expects all primary schools to meet a minimum 'floor standard' for pupil attainment and/or progress.

In 2016, schools must:

Have at least 65% of pupils achieve the 'expected' standard in Reading, Writing and Maths:  West Winch = 79% (14% above floor);

Have achieved sufficient progress score in all three subjects.  This means at least -5 in Reading:  West Winch = 3.4 (8.4 above floor), at least -7 in Writing:  West Winch = -0.2 (6.8 above floor) and at least -5 in Maths:  West Winch = 2.3 (7.3 above floor).

Therefore the West Winch results indicate that in all measures, we are well above floor standards for the academic year 2015 to 2016.
